Collages
God came to this Earth to destroy the sinners. Aryan has come to destroy spectacles. Three rimless already gone, and still counting.
I think either we both will shift to those economical and durable carbon frames, or get our eyes operated. It will be better than those recurring losses. Already, as Alka had predicted, things have started going out of windows.
He is already a Dhai Phutiya. Three racks in the kitchens have been cleaned to empty but still his hands, like Kanoon Ke Hanth, reach everywhere. He can open the latches and knobs. He can climb and alight the double bed and Diwan. The "Enter" key of my not-so-old Laptop has been unhooked by him. A perfectly clean room done just three minutes back looks like a mad house in no time.
Nothing is safe anywhere.
Loo is an enigma for him. He wonders what happens inside there. He is always interested, and keeps on banging the door. Twice he has locked me in. He will be pretty disappointed when he comes to know all about it.
Here a few collages.

Mortal Remains
The apple of my eye has finally snapped the support system of my eye neatly into two pieces. It had cost me a kingdom at the time I bought.
And that's what he wanted to do all along.

The Creator And The Destroyer
I mean God is the creator, and Aryan the destroyer.
The process is typical. He first holds the object of his destruction in his right hand, and then the transfers it to his left hand, while keeping his gaze fixed on the object. He repeats this process once or twice again.
Then comes the bang. He bangs the object straight down the ground. Then he picks it up again, and throws it in the same direction. Follows it and throws it further. He keeps on doing this until he loses his interest or the object has lost it original shape.
He has done this with a TV remote. He wants to repeat that fate to the new one. He wants the cellphone to be a goner too. Watches, plates, cups, bottles ... you name it. Now that he has started his baby steps without any support ( since July 1 that is), the first two racks in the kitchen have been emptied .
Even the Gods in Pooja Ghar are not spared. Three idols are broken till date, and now he has set sight on the framed photographs. Since yesterday, the entire Poojaghar has been shifted to Refridgerator's roof. That's not the way to show atheism, if at all.
But if you ask him the one thing which he wants to lay his hands on the most is the spectacles. To his lottery, both of his parents are bespectacled. If we let our guard down, with one swift motion of his hand, he catches hold of them, and them laughs with glee as if he has won a medal.
He is a full blown naughty brat now. Some of his snaps.

From Shrieks To Syllables
Aryan began with shrieks & coos, then graduated to blabbles like "Gaya" & "Nayin", and now has post graduated to those syllables which parents ultimately love to hear - a non stop series of "Mam Mam Mam..."(as in Aam - mangoe), and "Pa Pa Pa Pa...".
It all started with "Mam Mam Mam Mam". It appeared very cute from his mouth. Then he started to say Papa, which he started within 3-4 days. Sometimes he speaks "Pa Pa" very lovably by giving a twist to ending "Pa". Soon "Ba Ba Ba Ba" also got added to his limited vocabulary.
Now he also says - "Abba Abba". When he is not happy, he says "Bua" or "Abua."
Though he says these things generally, I would like to believe he calls me "Pa Pa" :-)
However, there is a pattern to his "Ma Ma" and "Pa Pa". When he wants to play or go outside, he shouts "Pa Pa", while when his hungry or sleepy, he will go (or may not go) to his mummy and say "Mam Mam".
You can call this as Matlabi, which I guess he is, albeit innocently. But natural.

With time, Aryan has developed a few exercises of his own. These are Push Ups which Aryan regularly attempts. I guess to compliment his good looks, he also wants to tone his muscles.

Aryan Learns To Smooch

Albeit it has happened quite early in his life, but nothing can be done now. The story goes like this.
Till a few days back, his show of affection use to translate following course. He would raise his hand to beckon me, and then he would feel my face with both hands.
By now, he has realized that I might kiss him next. To reciprocate the feelings, he had learned to opens his mouth. Then I would plant a smacking kiss on his open mouth. Often, he would not remove his mouth for many seconds.
But God has given children phenomenal brains.
This guy realized that though we are kissing each other, Papa does something more - the smacking sound. Puuuchchch! And he wanted to do that himself too.
So that day when I was kissing him gently on his lips, he started blowing air out of his mouth with lips closed. Like Ppphhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. When I took away my lips, he stopped doing this. When again I kissed him, he did the same.
I was shocked! He was trying to smooch! Now he does it regularly whenever we kiss him. These guys learn fast. And learn naughty too.
Why not - at the age of eight months these infants develop 500 trillion of neurons. The neural network is developing is pretty fast.
Poot Ke Paanv Palne Mein Dikh Gaye Hain.

Yesterday, Aryan met with his great grandmother, and they instantly jelled together. Needless to say that it was an overwhelming moment for both of them.
